Gregor Brück , also known by the Latinized name of Gregorius Pontanus ( Brück , c. 1485 - Jena , February 15, 1557), was a German jurist and politician .

As chancellor and adviser to the elector of Saxony , he directed, under three different principles, the most important Protestant territory of the Holy Roman Empire and played a leading role in the political events of the Reformation . He was representative and negotiator for Saxony in numerous imperial diets, co-author of the Augustan Confession and promoter of the League of Smalcalda , activities for which he is sometimes remembered as the "jurist of the Reformation".

The Ilyushin Il-4 ( Russian : Ильюшин Ил-4 ^? ) Was a low- wing twin -engine bomber designed by OKB 39 directed by Sergej Vladimirovič Il'jušin and developed in the Soviet Union in the 1930s .

Derived from the earlier Ilyushin DB-3 , it was one of the most important bombers in the long-range bombing regiments of the V-VS , the Soviet Air Force , during World War II . It remained in service even in the early post-war years, receiving the NATO codename Bob for this reason .

The result of a profound program of revisiting the DB-3 project, the realization of the new version (initially called DB-3F) was handled directly by Sergej Il'jušin starting from 1938: in this work the Russian designer treasured the first findings deriving from the use of aircraft in service and the problems encountered during production in the various industrial plants involved; he was also able to benefit from the experience directly lived by Boris Pavlovič Lisunov and his employees during their stay in Santa Monica ( California ) at the Douglas Aircraft Company plant, where the Douglas DC-3 was produced .
